For the last 6 years SMC has worked with Auckland City Council on delivering the annual Teddy Bears Picnic.

The annual Free Teddy Bears picnic has the ongoing backing and support from Auckland City and the Auckland Kindergarten Association.
With a strong reputation of being a fun day out for the whole family and also being the longest running and largest event of its kind in New Zealand.

Entertainment throughout the day includes two main stages of performances bouncy castles, face painting and your favourite strolling characters.

The Teddy Bears Picnic caters for all families and children and not to forget their favourite teddy bear! The majority of promotion and publicity of the event is through word of mouth and the reputation it holds within the Auckland community, in addition brochures that were distributed to kindergartens, schools, and childcare/educational facilities assisted in the awareness of the picnic.

The continuing assistance and support from Auckland City and the Auckland Kindergarten Association allows the event to be such a success.
